Central Data Services (CDS) will be the right-hand team in fulfilling the healthcare needs and questions for our Local 2 members. Founded in 1979, CDS provides full-service employee benefits administration to individuals and families. Along with the WEX Health app, CDS will be bringing their personalized expertise through a dedicated staff in addition to the app services.

WEX Health Cloud will save time and hassle with the Asbestos Local 2 HRA app. It will be the go-to resource for any member’s healthcare needs, right at their fingertips. In addition, CDS will offer personalized attention to any questions anyone may have when dealing with benefits and more.

The app will be a fast-paced way to check balances on HRA and HSA cards and offer convenient ways to upload benefit receipts and invoices. Other competitors have focused on automation as a way to improve their internal structure, but CDS prides itself on its personalized customer-relation focus to get what each member desires from the following areas: health & welfare benefits, consumer-driven health plans, retirement benefit TPA, pension, annuity, contributions, and more. CDS has assigned a trained, specialized team for Local 2. Leading the team is Robin Prescott, senior benefits administrator, Luke Gabig, account manager, and Sara Weaver, benefits coordinator. They are well-versed in plan documents and trained on all of the policies and procedures. If they do not know an answer firsthand, they will point you in the right direction with actionable, helpful guidance. They also have their own in-house Claims Department and a pension analyst, Bill Camp, that can help with estimates and applications.
