The 2022 Local 2 Founders’ Day Picnic is right around the corner and has a packed schedule of fun-filled events. On August 6, 2022, join us at the Avonworth Community Center from noon until 7 p.m. to reunite with our union members and families to have some summertime entertainment and amusement! Have a chance to catch up with our members and make new friends.
So, let the summer tradition commence again! This year, we will have picnic food set up and ready to eat by Salvador’s Catering from 1-7 PM. We will also have the following activities for friends and families to enjoy: bingo, face painting, ice cream truck, basket shooting, two balloon toss contests and more.
If anyone is interested in running the horseshoe contest, please contact Tom Mulholland by sending him a note at tommlu2@comcast.net.
Plus, the Pensioners’ Club has three (3) raffle tickets to raise money for our activities that you should have received by mail. Local 2 asks that you please purchase or sell the tickets at a cost of $5 each or 3 for $10. The drawing will be held at 6 p.m. on the Founders’ Day Picnic. The winner does not need to be present to win. Please return your ticket stubs and check by July 29, 2022 to the Pensioners’ Club, 109 Pleasant Drive, Ste. 200, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
