More Options To Manage Your Benefits

Local 2 members now have another resource to make managing their benefits a whole lot easier. Third-party administrator, CDS, just launched an all-new website for members to log in and manage their annuities, review hours, download forms and applications and much, much more.  

In the past, in order to obtain documents such as pension and annuity forms, you had to pick up the phone and have them sent to you. Now, CDS’s website allows members to pull up these same forms right from the document center.  

“This site serves as a one-stop shop for Local 2 Insulators.” says CDS Benefit Administrator, Luke Gabig. 

The site not only allows members to review their information housed by CDS, but there are also links to all the external vendors that members utilize such as John Hancock and WexHealth.  

“This site is just another value-added feature. We aren’t going anywhere as far as our customer service. We are still a phone call away for any assistance that members need.” senior benefit administrator, Robin Prescott says.  

Prescott stressed that the website isn’t a replacement to their current over the phone customer service, but just another place you can go to access your information. CDS is still local and available to answer any questions over the phone, including questions about the new website.

Eventually, CDS plans to create a cell phone application to pair with the website. In the meantime, this version of the site is completely mobile friendly so that you can access all this pertinent information from the palm of your hand.
